Our suppliers obtain their beads from all over the world, and in turn, we individually hand pick the best beads and findings from their selections. Most of the beads we work with are made from glass, shell and wood. Due to the individual nature of a lot of our beads, in particular those that have been hand painted, there may be some slight variations from those shown in the photos on the website.

Rocaille or Seed Beads – These are small, round, coloured glass beads that are most commonly 2-2.5mm in diameter. Some are made from coloured glass and some are sprayed clear glass.

Glass Pearls – These are round glass beads that have been sprayed with colour to give them a pearly appearance. They come in a variety of colours including white, pink, grey, black and brown.

Murano Glass Heart – The Murano Glass Heart pendant comes only from Venice and is made using silver foil inside Venetian glass.

Turquoise – Our turquoise beads are made from real turquoise pressed into round shaped beads.

Navy Sandstone – This is one of the most beautiful gemstones in our opinion! The beads are cool, a nice weight and sparkle in the light with their natural glitter.

Amber Resin – These beads are made of tree sap, the same as real Amber, only these aren’t quite so old! The effect is very similar to real Amber though.

Findings – These include clasps, metal wires, crimp beads, jump rings and earring hooks, the large majority of which are silver or gold plated copper.
