Don't:

- have a bath or shower, or go swimming with your jewellery on;

- spray perfume or body lotions on your pieces of jewellery;

- dye your hair or use any colour solutions whilst wearing your jewellery;

- do any physical activities with your jewellery on;

- wear your jewellery overnight or put it under your pillow;

- hang your jewellery on a hook, as it will put an unnecessary pressure and will lead to breakages;

- store your jewellery unprotected and jumbled up together;

- store your jewellery in the bathroom.

Do:

- wipe your stones with a clean, soft cotton cloth and your silver with a silver polishing cloth;

- use only very gentle soap solution with your fingers or a very soft brush to clean your jewellery;

- ask a professional jeweller to clean very dirty pieces of jewellery;

- store individual pieces of jewellery separately, wrapped in a soft cloth or tissue. Best of all store each piece in an individual box with padding.
